our environment for infants – PreK

Takeoff is for kids infant-preK and takes place every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30.

Takeoff is our weekly environment created especially for your infant (six weeks) through preschool-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them. In Takeoff we focus on three big ideas:

  • God MADE me.
  • God LOVES me.
  • Jesus want to be my FRIEND forever.

We plan a full hour for your child that includes Bible stories, crafts, games, and best of all, a small group time for prayer and discussion about the story. Toddler – Pre-K children meet in a circle each week in their classrooms and learn about God in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways through hands-on activities. 3s – Pre-K classrooms will participate in “Large Group” for their Bible story and worship. This is a fun production they will not want to miss!

This month in Takeoff

Bottom Line: God made me. (Luke 2:41-50)
Interact: Who can do what God wants you to do?

Bottom Line: I can do what God wants me to do. (1 Samuel 3:1-10, 19)
Interact: This month let your child wake up to, “Good morning! Stretch your arms way up high if God made you to do good works.”

Bottom Line: I can do what God wants me to do. (1 Samuel 16:1-13)
Interact: Add some colorful bath toys to the tub this week. As you bathe your child say, “I see blue. Can you point to something blue?”
Do this with several colors. Talk about how Samuel did what God wanted him to do and he looked for the new king. He said, “I see the new king,” and he pointed to David!

Bottom Line: I can do what God wants me to do. (1 Samuel 17:1-50)
Interact: Cuddle up with your child and pray, “Dear God, thank You for giving me such an amazing [son/daughter]! I love spending
time with [child’s name] so much! I love the way he (name some things you enjoy about your child). I believe You made him to do
good works. Please help me become the person You want me to be so I can help him become the person You want him to be. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”
